Each property within the City of Stillwater is subject to the Stillwater Zoning Code.  The Zoning Code identifies uses that are outright permitted, permitted by special or conditional use permit, and those that are not allowed in each zoning district.  Each zoning district further identifies dimensional standards, such as maximum lot coverage and structural setbacks, for properties.

Planning applications can be submitted via mail or emailed to the Planning Department. To pay the application fee, you can submit a check payable to the City of Stillwater or pay via credit card over the phone, 651-430-8820.
