Responsibilities

The Finance Department is responsible for processing all monetary transactions for the City of Stillwater. These transactions include: 

  • Accounts Payable
  • Accounts Receivable
  • Assessments
  • Investing
  • Payroll
  • Utility Billing

Other responsibilities include preparing the annual budget and financial reports.

Effective January 1, 2024, processing fees will be applied to all transactions when using a credit card, debit card or electronic fund transfer. Processing fees will appear on statements as Zift/Community Connect:

  • Processing fee of 2.9% of the total charge plus $0.30 will be applied to all credit/debit card payments
  • Processing fee of $1.00 will be applied to all EFT payments
