I have an ash tree in my yard – what are my options?
There are two options: removal and insecticide treatment. If your tree has already severely declined from EAB, it may no longer be treatable. If you are interested in treatment, it must be performed by a tree care company that has licensed with the City of Stillwater.

Additionally, the City of Stillwater has partnered with Rainbow Treecare to offer a city-wide bulk discount treatment program. Any trees on privately owned property are eligible for the treatment discount. To set up a consultation for 2024, please visit www.rainbowtreecare.com/stillwater.

I am not sure if I have an ash tree – how do I figure it out?
The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources has a great online resource that can help you identify whether or not you have an ash tree.  – MN DNR Ash Tree Identification Tool
