The Stillwater Police Department offers the following services:
Gun Safety Classes
The police department offers gun safety classes periodically throughout the year for a minimal fee. For more information or class schedule, please contact (651) 351-4900.
Vehicle Lockouts
The police department will attempt to unlock your vehicle if you locked your keys inside. There is no charge.
Speed Trailer/Hand-Held Radar Gun
The police department speed trailer is placed in areas throughout the city to monitor speed. Residents can request the speed trailer for their neighborhood by contacting Brad Junker at 651-351-4930 or by filling out a Speed Trailer Request Form.
The hand-held radar unit can be checked out from the Stillwater Police Department on a first come-first served basis. This will allow residents to personally monitor traffic speed in their area.
Vacation Checks/Housewatch
The police department will check your home while you are away on vacation. Please call (651) 351-4900 or fill out the Vacation Check Form.

Alarms
The police department responds to all residential and commercial alarms. The department presumes that your alarm is in proper working order. The department has never charged a fee for false alarms. The department will work with you to ensure that your alarm is functioning properly.
Police Reports
To obtain a copy of a police report either stop in to the police department, complete the request for information, and mail it to the Stillwater Police Department at 216 4th St. N. along with a postage-paid return envelope, or fax your request to (651) 351-4940.
