Comprehensive Planning

The process of comprehensive planning establishes a shared vision, identifies community goals, and creates plans for the future growth and development that is most appropriate for Stillwater. Stillwater's comprehensive planning process is connected to those of neighboring communities, ensuring local and regional development occurs in harmony.

As required by the Metropolitan Land Planning Act, all cities, townships and counties must prepare a Comprehensive Plan ("Comp Plan") every ten years. Use the Quick Links, below, to access the current plan, plan update, as well as other historical planning documents and neighborhood, facility, or resource plans.
