A Veterans Day Ceremony at the Stillwater Veterans Memorial will take place at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 11th, following the annual downtown salute to veterans. A guest speaker will provide a keynote address, members of the Stillwater Area High School band will perform patriotic music, there will be a presentation of the colors and a remembrance of all veterans, and designated veterans will be honored with new pavers. This free event is open to all members of the community, young and old alike. The memorial is located at the corner of Third and Pine streets in Stillwater, in the Riverview Parking Lot across from the historic county courthouse.
