Boots at the River

Operation: 23 to Zero, a local non-profit organization is hosting it's annual Boots event. Typically held on the steps of the State Capitol, each day combat boots are placed out memorializing those military members lost to suicide that day. Each day following the first, that day's average total is added to the original number until the final day (Friday), over 100 pairs of boots are on display.
