Opera on the River 2023: A Celebration of Music and Community
Join St. Croix Valley Opera for its cornerstone vocal event, Opera on the River—the best of outdoor summer entertainment and SCVO's most popular concert! There is something for everyone throughout this special weekend at Lowell Park in downtown Stillwater:

Saturday, July 29, 2023:
Performing Arts Fair (2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.)—Connect and mingle with Upper Midwest arts organizations, colleges and universities, and other music education and arts professionals—to learn about all the possibilities of careers in the performing arts and music! Maybe even hear some of the groups perform a short exhibition showcasing what they do best!

Opera on the River Concert (7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.)—Experience the biggest outdoor opera concert in the St. Croix Valley, with engaging singers, an outstanding orchestra, and an exciting community of 900+ attendees and music lovers! In addition to musical theatre and opera favorites, the 2023 OOTR will debut the winner of the SCVO Vocal Competition. In case of rain, the concert will be moved inside to Trinity Lutheran Church in Stillwater, same time same day.
