A Memorial Day ceremony at the Stillwater Veterans Memorial will begin at 11:30 a.m., Monday, May 31th, 2021 to honor St. Croix Valley area casualties of war with a wreath laying ceremony recognizing the fallen from each of the branches of the armed forces.  The ceremony will include a guest speaker, patriotic music, and a T-6 Thunder Flight Team flyover.  The American Legion honor guard will participate as well as local Veterans of Foreign War members will conduct a rifle salute and tribute.  This free event is open to all members of the community, young and old alike.  The memorial is located at the corner of Third and Pine streets in Stillwater, in Riverview Parking Lot across from the Historic Washington County Courthouse.
